My opinion on the Flatline barrel system? I think it sucks for tournament use, the usual tournie fields aren't near that big. It's useless there; Scenario games however......AH-HA! I see a huge place for them when the field is like 400 acres big. You need your paint flung far, the "sniper" has become a real threat now. Before, it was just a guy hiding great in range to your shots too. Now he can truly be out of your range and HE can still whack you! I personaly won't buy one, it's not my style. But i wish it well and hope I get a couple on my team next scenario, remember, one ball is all it takes!(not 5000) My various rants........ I think the east coast needs more "hopperball" tournies. The GWS tried out here, but the majority of guys who insist they can't compete unless they shoot a case of paint a game, ruined it for those of us with SKILL. Remember what that was? I love hopperball, having to budget 200 rounds is great, not to mention lighter. I can leave my harness for the next NPPL. If I only have 200 rounds, I must rely on skill(there's that wierd word again....)making every shot count, ideally,in a 5 man hopperball game, I should only need 5 rounds. I think all the paint hogs should put their harness away and give hopperball a chance. Your thoughts? EMAIL YOUR opinions..... |
Why tha fark does everyone insist uou can't play if you don't have an Angel?!!? I can't afford one.I will not deny it is a great marker, nor will I trash it, it's just I don't want to have to sell my little brother to gypsies to get one! I do shoot a high end marker though, a TRIBAL TWISTER, but i don't play many tournies, I personally like to play 24 hour scenario games. I don't bash tournament style of play, I just don't think that tourney play of ANY form belongs in rec play.If you're happy with your tippman, play!Have fun.If you like Angel play.Don't look down on the guy with the Spyder because you have an Angel. Play nice kids!
